Check out the Opus. It's a $40,000 customized foosball table made by Eleven Forty. Yes, $40,000!
This is a truly personalized table. The foos men/women can be modeled after you and your
friends. They "micro-cast 3-D heads from photographs" so the player figures look like you &
your buds. Now that's a trip. The heads are interchangeable. They even have a "glove
compartment" on each end to store your extra heads & other paraphernalia. The table surface
is made of etched glass and is lit from underneath. With the flick of a switch, you can change the
color of the surface to suit your mood. The cabinet is curved like a Babyfoot Bonzini. Opus is
available in your choice of wood finishes. Keeping the table level shouldn't be a problem with the
built-in bubble levelers. Handles are available in wood, metal & leather. WTF? They have 3 types
of balls for "different speeds". So there are some oddities, but you gotta check it out. Maybe
there's a trust-fund fooser out there who'll buy one.

11 by GRO Design & Tim Modelmakers
|
Here's a one of a kind foosball table built for a design show in Italy. It's a collaboration of two
companies - GRO design & Tim modelmakers. The men are machined from solid brass and
finished in bright silver chrome. There are lighting effects showing the winning goal or
restarting the game. I'm not saying how playable this table would be, but it sure looks cool.

GARLANDO SPECIAL by Springtime Industrial Design
|
A Dutch firm, Springtime Industrial Designs, designed this table for Italian manufacturer Garlando.
|
Yes, it's glass! I wouldn't want to be
around if David Chancey missed a
pull shot on this table! The men are
aluminum. They call them statuettes.
There's no mention of what type of
ball is used. The Italian manufacturer
describes it as "an elegant design
piece in our formal living spaces".

AUDI FOOSBALL by Audi Designs
|
It seems that everyone is designing
foosball tables these days. This one was
created by German auto manufacturer
Audi. It took their team more than a year to
design it. They wanted "a stylish and
futuristic foosball table that reflects the
Audi look". They haven't decided if it will
go into production.
